National Night out is a unique crime/drug prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW).  It promotes community, with Law Enforcement, Fire Departments, Military, Government and Veterans Organizations provide information to make it a safer community for all. VFW Post and Auxiliary promoted safety with setting up a table and asking those that stopped by to write a letter to a soldier in Afghanistan.
