 ABOUT THIS SITE
We are a small post with a big presence on the
internet, looking for new members to join us.
This site was designed with technology in mind. With
all the new technology being released, like cell
phones, kindles, iPad's, and other hand held devices
having access to browse the internet, the concept
was to make it available to all of those devices.
We did not use Flash on the site since some of those
hand held devices do not allow Flash to run on them,
such as the iPhone and iPad.
This site was thoroughly tested on the operating
systems IOS, Android, and internet browsers Internet
Explorer versions 6, 7, 8 and 9, along with Firefox
and Safari before releasing it to the public.
This site displays without any issues on the above
devices and browsers.
New features will be added to the site, but this
site has A Commander's Corner, Auxiliary
President Corner, live News Feeds, links, a Chat Room,
Google
directions, Comic Strips, Video, Photo Gallery,
Bulletin Board, Veteran Discounts, This Day In
Military History, and a Calendar of Events for
the local post.
Our goal for this web site is to help Veterans, VFW
Members, and Auxiliary members have the
access to the most recent events and news from all
of the major Veteran and VFW sites, from one
location.
