Teacher Appreciation at David Elementary

VFW Post 12024 & Auxiliary 12024 in The Woodlands, honored Teachers and Staff at David Elementary with breakfast trays.  “Our teachers are facing some very difficult times right now, they are shaping our leaders of tomorrow, and what better way to say 'Thank You' then with bagels, fruit and orange juice”, said Robert Fuller, Commander.

Sherriff’s Appreciation and Hug-A-Bears

VFW Post 12024 & Auxiliary 12024 in The Woodlands, said 'Thank You' to our local Firefighters at Station #2 and Sheriff’s Department with breakfast trays and “Hug A Bears”.  Our firefighters and police officers place their lives on the line daily to support and protect our community, which is something our VFW Veterans know all too well.  We can never say “Thank You” enough, said Robert Fuller, Commander Post 12024, The Woodlands.

Nurses Appreciation Day

VFW Post 12024 & Auxiliary 12024 in The Woodlands, honoring the nurses at Regent Care Center and The Woodlands Healthcare Center with breakfast trays of bagels, fruit, and juice.  “These trays are a small Thank You when considering the loving care our Nurses provide for our community and especially our seniors on a daily basis.  Many times they are on their feet for long hours and short on staff, that’s something our Veterans have a lot of experience in,” said Robert Fuller.

Blanketing Woodlands Healthcare Center

VFW Post 12024 & Auxiliary 12024 in The Woodlands, donated handmade lap robes to The Woodlands Healthcare Center in Panther Creek.   “Honoring our seniors this Christmas season is just a small part of what our VFW group can do to give back to the community,” said Robert Fuller, Post Commander.
